190 of 197 listings were brought by banks, mortgage servicers or loan trustees; 3 by condominium or homeowners associations and 2 by tax lien holders or municipalities.
Some of the Camden County listings we sampled (6 of 15) had already been pushed back at least once, so the date on the list is not always the final date. Homeowners can confirm the current date on the official list and review their options below.
Scheduled sales, not completed ones; the adjournment share comes from a small sample. The county's list is the authority for any single sale.

All Camden County bidder rules →
Camden County carries South Jersey's heaviest split personality: Camden City's hardship blocks and the comfortable suburbs — Cherry Hill, Haddonfield's borders, Gloucester Township — share one Hall of Justice and one sheriff's sale calendar. The county has long ranked high in filings, the city draws the state's densest scam traffic per equity dollar, and the suburbs default quietly in houses school-district demand keeps valuable. South Jersey's legal services organizations and HUD counselors cover the county free.
Camden's own rules give the defendant two adjournments of up to four weeks each, at $28 apiece, and 10 consecutive days to redeem after the sale. With sales on the first and third Wednesday, a four-week adjournment usually moves your date two sale days later, so ask well before the Wednesday you are listed for.
Until the auction, and for the short redemption window after it, reinstating, selling the home or a Chapter 13 filing can still change the outcome. Never pay anyone to postpone it for you.

What deposit does Camden County require from bidders?
Deposit: 20% of the bid, paid immediately when the property is struck off; CWPP purchasers pay 3.5% plus required documentation. Accepted: Cash, certified check, or treasurer's check; $500 cash limit toward the deposit. Balance: Within 30 days; failure to pay forfeits the deposit ($500 cash limit on balance too). From the county's official sheriff pages as read on September 30, 2026; confirm with the sheriff's office before bidding.

In our October 2026 sample of 15 Camden County listings, 40% had been adjourned at least once, against 58% across all 16 counties in the report. It is a small sample, so treat it as a rough guide.
